The Executive council perform all functions on behalf of the Egbe, except those exclusively reserved for the general assembly. The executive council manages the affairs of the society.

The members of the executive council are constitutionally elected every three years by secret ballot from among the financial members at the annual general meeting. The council undertakes the planning and execution of development projects provided such project is approved by the general assembly.
